V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University is one of the oldest public HEIs in Eastern Europe, with a 220-year history. Vinnytsia National Agrarian UniversityThe Vinnytsia State Agricultural University was established in 1978 when the Regional School of Agricultural Management was founded. The Vinnytsia affiliate of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy was established on the basis of the school. After obtaining independence from the Academy in April 1991, the affiliate was renamed into the Vinnytsia State Agricultural Institute and in a year it reached the state accreditation.
