"As an Australian with Ukrainian heritage, I was so delighted and fortunate to be accepted into National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy as a Free Mover student. Situated in one of the oldest districts in the city, Podil, NaUKMA boasts a prestigious reputation as one of Ukraine's finest universities and is truly progressive in its appeal to both current and prospective students. As a Free Mover, I was able to select courses catered to my interests and busy schedule, making it incredibly flexible. Having Ukrainian heritage, for me it was essential to study subjects taught in the Ukrainian language. However, a number of courses are taught in English. The location of the university is extremely convenient, only a short walk from the metro station, even within walking distance to the historical city centre. The atmosphere in the Podil district is always lively and a real student presence can be felt here. The Academy offers a number of extra-curricular activities and ensures students settle in with ease. Studying here has truly allowed me to engage in an student-friendly community with a historically rich, authentic Ukrainian backdrop."

"I have chosen the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv for many reasons: it's the best university in the country especially when it comes to studying philology, they have a long tradition and history that is centuries old. It is comparable among other famous universities with regards to international rankings, has reasonable tuition fees and the university is right in the heart of the city.
Although it is a long way from home, I was warmly welcomed from the beginning. The professional staff working at the university are highly motivated and enthusiastic about their students, not only guiding us through every step of the learning process, but taking care of students with guided excursions through the city, visits to tourist landmarks and amazing cultural activities.
Ukraine and it's best university are permeated with history in every corner and full of great traditions just waiting to be discovered. That's why I recommend this university to everyone who wants to achieve academic excellence"
