Project goals and objectives:

Wider objective:

• To integrate international students into Ukrainian and European educational space by the means of cultural, ethnic, social and academic assets.

Specific project objectives:

• To develop and implement Roadmap, that includes all aspects of international students integration and adaptation.
• To improve quality of training and administrative services, assure informational support of international students.
• To upgrade qualifications of administrative and academic staff.
• To create tolerant multicultural international environment at Ukrainian HEIs.
• To disseminate project results among Ukrainian HEIs.

“Study in Ukraine” project group joins the first Study Visit within the “INTERADIS” project

Specialists of the Ukrainian State Center for International Education joined the first online Study Visit within the “International Students Adaptation and Integration / INTERADIS” project.The “Study in Ukraine” project team was represented by the Head of the Department of International Cooperation Valentina Shulga, and the Head of the Department of Processing, Registering and Monitoring of Information Kostiantyn Komisarov. State Enterprise “Ukrainian State Center for International Education” is the only enterprise in Ukraine that received a grant from the European Union’s “Erasmus+” Program.During the event, speaker Oliver Schmidt, start-up consultant and innovation manager, discussed with the participants the main challenges of the coronavirus pandemic and their impact on the processes of internationalization in higher education, spoke about the specifics of developing an internationalization strategy, resources needed to implement it.Participants were also introduced to new ways of increasing international students’ motivation for studying, as well as to marketing mechanisms for quality advertising of educational opportunities.

The seminar took place within the “International Students Adaptation and Integration / INTERADIS” project that was organized by Hultgren Nachhaltigkeitsberatung UG.

For reference: the “International Students Adaptation and Integration / INTERADIS” project is coordinated by the Netherlands Business Academy. Its goal is to integrate foreign students into the Ukrainian and European educational space through cultural, ethnic, social and academic values.

Проєктна група УДЦМО долучилася до першого Study Visit в межах проєкту «INTERADIS»

Фахівці Українського державного центру міжнародної освіти долучилися до першого онлайн Study visit в межах проєкту «Інтеграція та адаптація іноземних студентів / INTERADIS».Проєктну групу УДЦМО представляли начальниця відділу міжнародного співробітництва Валентина Шульга та начальник відділу обробки, реєстрації та моніторингу інформації Костянтин Комісаров. ДП «Український державний центр міжнародної освіти» – єдине підприємство в Україні, яке отримало грант від Програми Європейського Союзу «Еразмус +».Під час заходу спікер Олівер Шмідт, стартап консультант та менеджер з питань інновацій, обговорив з учасниками головні виклики пандемії коронавірусу та їхній вплив на процеси інтернаціоналізації у вищій освіті, розповів про особливості розробки стратегії інтернаціоналізації, ресурси, необхідні для її реалізації.Учасникам також презентували нові шляхи підвищення мотивації іноземних студентів до навчання та механізми маркетингових методів для якісної реклами освітніх можливостей.

Семінар, що відбувся у межах проєкту «Інтеграція та адаптація іноземних студентів / INTERADIS», організовував Hultgren Nachhaltigkeitsberatung UG.

Довідково: проєкт «Інтеграція та адаптація іноземних студентів / INTERADIS координується Нідерландською бізнес-академією. Його мета – інтегрувати іноземних студентів в український та європейський освітній простір за допомогою культурних, етнічних, соціальних та академічних цінностей.

On October 1, 2021, a preventive monitoring on the state of implementation of the International Students Adaptation and Integration / INTERADIS project took place.The team of experts of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, consisting of Zhanna TALANOVA, expert on analytical issues, coordinator of the National Team of Experts on Higher Education Reform, Kateryna ZHDANOVA, expert on communications and mobility programs, registration of the organization’s profile, and Petro KRAYNIK, expert in the Jean Monnet field, on the registration of ITH (International Technical Help) projects, monitored the project implementation.

The monitoring consisted of several sessions. The event was attended by both, the leadership of Ukrainian partners, and the members of project groups.

On October 3-6, the participants of the INTERADIS Project Coordination Committee were hospitably received by Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.

The first offline study visit to the European partner of the INTERADIS project – Mykolas Romeris University (Vilnius, Lithuania) will take place quite soon as well.
