Citizens from countries that require a visa to enter Ukraine must obtain a type D visa at a consular institution of Ukraine abroad.

To apply for a visa, you must submit the following to the consular office:

1. passport;
2. filled out and signed visa application form;
3. one color photo card measuring 35×45 mm;
4. valid health insurance policy;
5. document confirming the payment of the consular fee;
6. document confirming the purpose of the trip to Ukraine, namely an invitation for study;
7. biometric data, which includes fingerprints and face photography;

Documents issued by the authorities of a foreign state must be legalized and submitted together with a certified translation in the Ukrainian language, or in the absence of such, in the English language.

A consular fee of 65 USD is paid for issuing a visa by a foreign diplomatic institution of Ukraine.
