If your country requires a visa to enter Ukraine, you must apply for a Type D (long-term) student visa at a Ukrainian embassy or consulate in your country.

What you need to apply for a visa
When applying at the consular office, you will need to prepare the following documents:
- a valid passport
- a completed and signed visa application form
- one colour photo (35 × 45 mm)
- valid health insurance
- proof of payment of the consular fee
- a document confirming the purpose of your trip — your Invitation to Study
- biometric data, including fingerprints and a facial photo
Important note about documents
Any documents issued by authorities in another country must be:
- officially legalized, and
- submitted with a certified translation into Ukrainian or, if Ukrainian is not available, into English
