International Cultural Diplomacy Forum 2021 took place today – a professional platform for discussing modern approaches to presenting a country in the international arena by means of culture and by establishing intercultural ties. The event was organized by the Ukrainian Institute in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

 

The key topic of the forum is the capabilities of cultural diplomacy in solving common global challenges.

– Geopolitical picture of the world: global agenda and cultural relations;
– Ukraine on the world map: international politics and cultural relations;
– Cultural diplomacy and the issue of misinformation;
– Women’s voices in the world: cultural diplomacy and gender equality;
– The role of culture and international cooperation in the protection of human rights in conflict situations;
– Postcolonialism and intercultural relations: reapropriation or common cultural heritage.

 

The Forum was attended by cultural diplomacy experts, international journalists, scholars and diplomats.
