How to create an account

Step One

Create your digital account

Register a personal account on the application portal, fill out an application form with your personal information, submit an application and pay the application fee.

STEP TWO

Get your Offer of Admission

Once a university approves your application, you will receive an Admission Offer.



What's an Offer of Admission?

An Offer of Admission is an official digital document that includes key details about your studies.

  • You can accept or decline the offer.

Invitation for Study

  • You can receive your official study invitation in Ukraine online.

  • The digital invitation is valid for 6 months.

Step Three

Receive your Invitation for Study

Once you accept your admission offer, the university will check your documents and issue your Invitation for Study.

Step Four

Visa application

Getting your visa is an important step before coming to Ukraine. If you need a visa to enter Ukraine, you must apply for a Type D student visa at a Ukrainian embassy or consulate in your country.

What you need to apply for a visa

When applying at the consular office, you will need to prepare the following documents:

  • a valid passport
  • a completed and signed visa application form
  • one colour photo (35 × 45 mm)
  • valid health insurance
  • proof of payment of the consular fee
  • a document confirming the purpose of your trip — your Invitation for Study
  • biometric data, including fingerprints and a facial photo

Important note about documents

Any documents issued by authorities in another country must be:

  • officially legalized, and
  • submitted with a certified translation into Ukrainian or, if Ukrainian is not available, into English

Step Five

Before you arrive

Before travelling to Ukraine, make sure you’re ready for border control and entry requirements. Here’s what you need to know.

Apply for permit

This permit serves as your official ID in Ukraine and confirms that you are legally allowed to live in the country during your studies.

Upon arrival

If you plan to stay in Ukraine for a longer period (longer than 90 days), you must apply for a Temporary Residence Permit.
