To enter Ukraine, a foreign citizen requires the following documents:

1. valid passport document;
2. type D visa;
3. document confirming the purpose of the planned stay – a digital invitation/invitation for study, issued by a Ukrainian educational institution;
4. health insurance policy (certificate);
5. availability of sufficient financial support;

To confirm their financial capability, a foreign citizen must have cash or a bank card with a bank statement on the availability of a sufficient amount in the account (More details can be found here https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/884-2013-%D0%BF#n8).

Please note that there are currently no direct flights to Ukraine. You can get to Ukraine through checkpoints on the borders with the following countries: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova. Thus, it is necessary to have a transit visa of the country through which your route will pass.

In your applicant’s digital account you must specify information about the time and place of crossing the state border of Ukraine.
