Rules of admission to Ukrainian universities
International students in Ukraine can choose between full-time, part-time, or online (distance) study formats.
Please note that distance learning is available for all fields of study except MBBS/Medicine.
When does enrolment take place?
Enrolment for international students happens at different times, depending on the level and type of study:
- Twice a year — before and at the beginning of academic semesters:
- until November 1
- until March 1
This applies to Professional Junior Bachelor’s, Junior Bachelor’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s programs.
- Year-round enrolment is available for:
- PhD and postgraduate studies
- preparatory courses (foundation year)
- professional development and internships
- transfers and reinstatement of studies
Each university sets its own admission deadlines, which are published on the university’s official website.
