The University currently serves about 12,000 students who are pursuing pre-bachelor's, bachelor's, master's, educational and scientific, and scientific degrees in 55 majors and 23 fields of knowledge. About 1900 foreign students represent more than 50 countries worldwide.

Today the University has bilateral partnership agreements with 300 foreign educational and scientific institutions from 57 countries. 180 foreign academics and lecturers from 32 countries visit the University annually to collaborate in research, attending conferences, and giving lectures. Each year more than 1500 lecturers, researchers and students travel abroad to 59 countries. Two-thirds of those take overseas trips in 2013 travelled abroad for academic purposes (conferences, training, and research). The University of Kyiv has become more proactive in the foreign citizens recruitment process. At present, the number of foreign students enrolled at the University is 1534. Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical is one of the leading centers of higher pedagogical education in Ukraine, educational and cultural center of Ternopil and one of the oldest universities in western Ukraine. The National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Auditing is a higher educational institution of the fourth accreditation level with a history of almost 30 years. The Academy enrolls students from all over the world, including from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Nigeria, Morocco, Algeria, Turkey, and Libya. The National University of Ostroh Academy is the successor of Ostroh Slavic, Greek and Latin Academy, the first higher educational establishment of the Eastern Slavs. The chronicles of the revived Ostroh Academy in Independent Ukraine started in 1994 with the Decree of the President of Ukraine. By virtue of succeeding decrees of the President of Ukraine, development of Ostroh Academy received a new impact for further growth. The State Institution “Institute of neurosurgery n. acad. A. Romodanov NAMS of Ukraine” is the leading institution in Ukraine in the specialty of neurosurgery. In terms of scientific and educational activity, the institute provides clinical residency, a graduate school and information and training courses. University of Customs and Finance is the unique higher educational establishment, which trains both Ukrainian and foreign specialists for customs domain and fiscal service. The graduates also work in the state and private enterprises, banks, security services, governmental bodies, educational establishments; law, transport and computer spheres. The University cooperates with the World Customs Organization, different world customs administrations, International Network of Customs Universities, European, Australian, American and African universities.

V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University is one of the oldest universities of the Eastern Europe. It was founded in November 1804, on the initiative of the prominent educator V.N. Vasyl` Stus Donetsk National University (Vasyl` Stus DonNU) is a preeminent educational and scientific complex awarded the highest IV level of accreditation, one of the leading higher education institutions of the country. The main activity of the University is the providing higher medical education for Specialist’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, as well as postgraduate training in internship, mastership, postgraduate study courses for physicians and pharmacists. The history of Zaporizhia State Medical University comes back to the Women Pedagogical Courses organized in Odessa in 1903. In 1959 the Pharmaceutical Institute was transferred from Odessa to Zaporizhia and renamed in Zaporizhia Pharmaceutical Institute. In 1968 the institution became Zaporizhia State Medical University.
